Intel Motherboard vs Asus

If it was just about performance I would rank Gigabyte before MSI and after Asus and EVGA. But it is not just about performance because every manufacturer has the occasional bad board. And Gigabyte has the worst RMA policy in my opinion. I won't buy their products if they won't offer better support.

well I have a Gigabyte and what happen is its capacitor leaks, its a brand new and my system placed in an air-condition room. That is I don't think I would choose Gigabyte boards

That happens with any board, but suit yourself. There are several more manufacturers available. Choice is good.

I've owned a ton of GB boards, and OC'd like crazy on all of em broke one myself but the others are still going fine. I don't really care about warranty from Gigabyte as I'll already have a 1-3 year warranty from whatever retailer I buy it from.

On topic. For home users, *def* go Asus. As Yami said the Intel boards are used more for business workstations and/or servers.
