So I'm planning on getting a new GPU for a desktop of mine, but I'm a little confused. The motherboard I'm using is an Intel D945GTP. Would I be able to put in something like a GTX 560 Ti? Or is there another card you'd recommend? I'll be using the computer for a lot of stuff, watching movies, gaming, editing, xbox recording, etc.

Your mobo has (1) pci-e X16 slot so the 560 Ti should work if your power supply can handle it. What is the Make, Model and Wattage of your power supply?

Hard to say, theoretically your psu can support the new video card but because of the cheap quality, it could also blow up.

Agreed. To be safe, get a better PSU, or a lower card like a GTX 550 ti or maybe a GTX 560 (no ti).

(On an unrelated note, love the new quick reply...whoever added it. :) )
