$300 CPU/MoBo/RAM

My friends socket 775 MoBo died and he needs a new CPU, MoBo, and RAM. I haven't been in the loop for a while so I don't know what I should get him. He doesn't care weather or not it's an AMD or Intel build but he does want a quad core with at least 4GB of RAM.

the motherboard isnt the best but it has everything you pretty much need unless your going to do some crazy stuff lol but you can always choose a different one if he doesnt like that mobo

Those are good parts, but if you are going to go with AMD, I would suggest getting a MOBO that has an AM3+ socket. So you could possibly upgrade it later. And not have to by a new board.

the 880g can support the phenom II x6. i guess the bulldozer would be nice but do u really need it? lol
