Upgrading plan

I am thinking of updating my server soon. You see in my sig, the specs of it.

For now, I am planning to change out the motherboard for a DDR3 board. Since DDR2 is so godawful expensive. If I can get a board off around $50, I can get some cheap DDR3 RAM for $30.

I think my CPU will be transferable. I'm not at all sure, though...

Or maybe just get a new bundle, give this one to a family member.

Nevermind, I'll just get a new Phenom II and mobo combo from Newegg.
