Computer Freezes Randomly

I am having a weird problem. My computer has been randomly freezing over the last few months. I have done hardware tests and everything is checking out okay. I did a system restore and it continued to freeze. When it freezes it stays on the windows screen, I just cant move my mouse.

I have tried keeping programs running and that seems to prolong my computer from freezing. My computer has been running for three days straight now with an online game application running in its menu. Does this sound like a hardware or registry problem? I have tried everything, if anyone has a potential solution please let me know!

I am also getting random freezes on my freshly built computer using Windows 7. I can move my mouse, but get a blue circle indicating the system is busy. Usually lasts about 1 minute then it is back to normal. I've read other posts where people were having similar problems and they were all using SSDs, like I am. I'm wondering if there is a connection between SSDs and this problem. Maybe I need to update drives/bios.
