How to plug to external monitors to a laptop with only one VGA exit

I was wondering if it was possible to plug two external monitors to a laptop with only one VGA exit.

This may not be what you are looking for

Note: This product will split your video signal to deliver two identical images of the same resolution. It cannot be used to span an image across two displays, or to show different images on each display.

You should be able to find a USB to VGA converter if you need to do something beyond the capabilities of the splitter.

My friend uses a USB to VGA converter. So he has 2 external screens.

I did not know about the usb to vga. Thanks for the info! I will do that as I was to have two different images.

Do you think windows xp works with that?

Windows XP may work but this is something you would have to check on the specs for the individual device.
