Its p67 aka 1155.

Why are you Raiding 2 black drives? Unless its even priced, regular blue drives would suffice..... As far as my understanding.

The COOLIT'S OKAY, BUT you don't get great performance compared to a reletively priced air cooler.

A 590 is extremely expensive for the minor gain. I'd rethink that.

This a prebuilt?

if it is just for data storage blue do work fine, i have 2 greens in my file server and i have no complaints

Edit

PS woot woot for 100th post, hello true techie

I will be running things off the hard drive and just thought I may as well raid them as I have two (got them already) for the little extra performance along side my SSD. Decided to get the 590 just to be as good as possible at this moment in time, is it really not worth it?

There is a difference and it's more than a few fps, but the biggest quiestion is after a ertain frame rate is more worth the money?

GPUs suck as every year basically they bring out better and better cards, so being top notch doesnt last long, but costs alot.

Its $250 more for a 590 over a 580.

But honestly its your build and money, so only you can decide. Its a great card.
