GTX 570 sli with p8p67pro MB

I just found out my motherboard doesn't have a x16/x16 data transfer:
2 x PCIe 2.0 x16 slots (Single@x16 or dual@x8/x8 mode or dual@x16/x1 mode)

So is it still worth it to go sli with 2 gtx 570's?

Also my cpu is an i7-2600(no k) which means there will be a slight bottleneck as well...

x8/x8 vs. x16/x16 isn't that big of a difference due to the latency of the NF200 chip that is required with x16/x16...2 gtx 570's is definitely worth it...and I don't think there will be a bottleneck with that cpu...if there is, it will be small.

So the x8 data transfer will have little to no effect on the gpu performance?

It will not be quite as fast as x16, but it will still greatly increase performance.
