Would my PSU be able to handle a sandy bridge and 5770?

It should have no problem with that gpu and cpu.

Now I see the 6870 for $180 and the 6950 for $240, are these worth it if I like to run games at 1650 x 1050? Over the 5770 in this case, or would those be overkill if I'm looking to run Rift, Skyrim, and not much more intensity wise.
