Hey guys I have a HP laptop (hp G60-418CA) and it has a built in webcam, the laptop is almost 2 years and everything has been fine until now. My webcam randomly stopped working. Whenever I try and open my Cyberlink Youcam, I get an error message that says "Warning no webcam detected, Try plugging a webcam in your computer, if you are using an integrated webcam make sure it is turned on" I either get that error message or this on that comes up most of the time " Youcam cannot connect to your webcam ( USB Video device.) Try selecting another capture device within settings or close any applications that may be using this webcam, then restart your Youcam.

When I go into device manager, Imaging Devices only shows up in device manager like half the times i open it or less.

-I updated the drivers.
-uninstalled youcam
-re installed it
-updated my computer and nothing.

anyone know whats up?:hrmph::sad:

Did you re/install the chipset drivers? That can help the system reconnect with it.

If not, I think it's a loose wire.
