PCI-EXPRESS slot problem - I think.

I have this problem.
when the computer is turned off the led of the screen is on... first its green for a sec and thn its orange like it should be.
when I turn the computer on there is no light on the screen led.
so if I turn the computer back off the screen will turn on.
if the computer is on and I disconct the DVI cable from the computer the screen is working.
after an hour of restarting and rebooting the computer the screen is working again... So I ususlly just leave the computer on so I wont have to go fru all of this again.

So - I tried to format the computer (I needed to format anyway - didnt thought it would help).

I tried to change the graphic card... I bought a new one... didnt helped.

So what else should I check? maybe its a slot problem?

I say it's your monitor that is the problem. Can you try this monitor on another computer?

I replaced the moniter and I had the same problem.
also I put the same monitor on another computer and worked fine.

Only thing left to do is trying your setup on another motherboard. Unless you perhaps didn't swap cords when you changed monitors.

I had a similar problem today, though it was my monitor being faulty.

and, I cant change motherborard I dont have another and I wont buy a new one till Ill figure out the problem.

Did u use onboard graphic or pci express card
