Need help selecting a Mother Board

my whole budget is up to $1600 but right now im starting to lean to Newegg.com - ASUS M4A89TD PRO/USB3 AM3 AMD 890FX SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

looks like a good board, clean design, good layout, usb 3 and sata 3.
you won't be able to use the core i5 family cpus with that motherboard though.

well im going to be a gamer and play games like World of Warcraft, Dead Space 2, and any new games that come out.

I've heard a lot of good things about the Asus Sabertooth and its not terribly expensive. Can save 20$ getting the i5 2500k combo too.

Oh, here we go again...

Intel and AMD are two CPU companies. They both have their rises and falls. They run on separate chipsets. There have been several fights over which is better. The answer is price/performance/preference.
