Haha, OK, now this is going to split your wig....

I'm extracting a file from winzip and instead of saying the CPU is 90C it is now saying -36C!!??? I mean, WTH?

Looking at the drastic change I'd say speedfan isn't accurate with the i7...I sure hope so... i put my hand down by the fan on my mobo and everything seems cool so I'm not sure what to think....

Speedfan needs to be updated. Just use RealTemp or CoreTemp.

Sounds like speedfan is giving some massively erroneous readings. Ignore it and use something else.

You could also try using HWMonitor.

OK, cool I'll check that one out...

As far as updating RealTemp, I went ahead and did that and got the same reading as the previous version I tested. Speedfan doesn't seem accurate.
