buying a domain from domain source

Hey everyone, new to tech forums..hello, posting problem here to get the most looks, I am trying to buy a domain that is a person's name from this company 'domain source' for 1450$ is this a good deal, am i just getting ripped off, has anyone dealt with this company...thanks ahead of time for your input ...J

did some research, this company is known to buy up domains and pump up prices...some shady stuff, the owner is also part of many non-profits to counter-balence his 'dirtyness', beware....

from what jonlilly said you are getting ripped off but unless you want to change the name it's you only option.
