Dual screen monitors in a game

Hey have to monitors that i would like to dual screen games on, do the monitors have to be of the same type or not? Also how would I set it up? is it an in game feature or PC side?

Game feature. Not many games support it, unless you're running EyeFinity on an AMD card. In that case, they all have to be the same size and refresh rate.

I only know of the supreme commander games.. Those support dual monitors natively. I know there are more, i just dont remember the names
For other games, you have to edit the configuration files to run in a window and to run at the resolution you ant it to run at.
