Well, yeah, XP was never x64. It had a x64 version, but it was just a cut down Sever 2003.

I'm not too hot on graphic cards, but you can get something much nicer than that. Wait for Trotter or someone else.

much nicer than that? i thought that was like everything in one package, 512Mb, quiet. pci-e and free game (even if i dont like the game lol) but overall 4Gb new power supply and that graphics card is 95 odd quid. which is good going i think, i thought 512Mb was the best graphics card you could get at the moment?

That graphics card will let you run two screens as it has a VGA, DVI, and HDMI outputs. However it will suck for anything beyond basic casual games (like Plants vs Zombies).

Since you are running XP you can only utilize 3.5GB (including the memory on the graphics card). It can run dual channel so you want to keep the same size and speed DIMMs in each slot, so either go with 2x1GB or 2x2GB (even though you won't be able to use all of it).
