Can I just add a SSD?

SSD's are not really of any use unless you run them off the OS. Because their storage space is so small. Using it as a data drive is no gain.

eSATA is external SATA, what they use on some external drives/enclosures. You can not use eSATA unless you have an eSATA connector on your case/motherboard. SSD's are not eSATA.

An SSD is like any other HDD. Works the same way. The only difference in a SSD is that there are no moving parts.

Thanks for the reply. I'm going to go buy one right now. 64GB is big enough to hold Win 7 and Office right? I plan on keeping a spare 500gb regular hard drive to hold my music and photos on.
