Get a 9800 pro. I love mine!

rounded these from what i can remember. havent ran any test in a while.. i am very satisfied with this card though. plays doom 3 great!

I've got Radeon 9600 man. It is good for the $$ but if you really wanna do some gamin' and you don't have much cash get the nVidia geForce FX 5900XT 128MB <- that'z a good one, for only 188 bucks and has 700MHZ effecive speed. I might get thet soon, because the Radeon 9600 doesn't run some gamez on full rez like NFSU2 or Splinter: Cell Pandora Tomorrow.

9600 XT is best bang for your buck. Unless you go with the 9800 XT....

remember...XT is tha bomb. forget SE and Pro models.

With my 9600 XT
I play Doom3 on medium at 1024 x 768. (40-90 FPS)
I play CSS at 1024 x 768 on medium. (50-110 FPS)

course, if I had the moola, Id be looking into the x800 or GF6800....but, i have to plant the money tree first.

p.s.

If you get the Radeon, buy the Sapphire model. Sapphire actually build all ATI cards, so same quality at a cheaper price.

you might wana go with 9800 pro cause if your a extreme gamer it will support the games graphics better

just a suggestion i would go with the 9600 xt if you were on a budget

What have you done to get these scores with your 9800pro? My scores are in my sig, are you overclocking?

I just overclocked my cpu a little.. and i used ati tool to overclock my video card some.. nothing extreme though...

Ah, yeah a faster cpu does help the scores a little.

I ended up going with a 9800 pro.. I should have went with the xt though.. its a few mhz faster. Oh well this will suffice.
