i'm curious to see what numbers you'd get if you hooked up a kill-a-watt to your rig O_O

Definitely something scary..... I can only speak for theoretic peak wattage (100% TDP), but my two PSUs are loaded as well as possible. 774 watts on one and 509 watts on the other. I'll have to hook it up one day and find my true draw.

Wow your score (impressive as it is) doesn't seem very high for such a beastly clocked chip.

I agree, I really though it would score better. And it's performs the same in other benchmarks. I can't help but think the pci-e slots running at 8x/8x are the limiting factor as my scores are just marginally better than my old i7 920 @ 4.2GHz with 16x/16x slots.

That card is still awesome, even with an 8x slot.
