laptop overheating

my laptop overheats and shuts off if i go on certain sites or open 2 or 3 windows, the fan is flat out until i shut them down, any suggestions on a solutiion.

Use a cooling pad, never keep a laptop on your lap, have another fan blow on the lpatop if this is a continuing problem.
Is your laptop clogged with dust?
Also, what are your CPU and GPU temps?

thanks for advice. any idea why it only overheats on certain game site. this did not always happen

Some flash applications take more processing power than others, and flash can easily get a processor to peak.
