thanx but when i look the GTX260 has much worse specs (on paper) and the GTX460 is out of my price range (around £90 cause i'm on a tight budget)

i looked up a few more links. found some pointing to tomshardware. it seems ppl are favoring the 5770. winning factors are dx11, better in crossfire, and nearly 1/2 the power consumption. However, just about everyone agrees that the 260 is a faster card. They also say the 5770 can be easily overclocked and the GTX is a older card. prolly good to stay with the 5770

Perhaps the 5830 would be a consideration, it is a tad faster than a 5770 and a 260.

Unless there is some reason that you prefer to order from novatech, I would make a few changes to the build.


Chances are, you don't need 8GB of RAM. Also, the RAM I listed is faster than the RAM you listed. Also, the Novatech RAM consumes a lot of voltage, 1.8-1.9v is pretty high for DDR3 RAM.
