I5 2500k or AMD Phenom II x61100T?

I like AMD, they look like they are less of a ripoff and I've always heard they are...But I've seen a few user reviews that claim that the i5 in question is actually faster than this hexacore by AMD, what do you guys think? $230 is about the perfect pricerange, and these seem to be the competitors.

Definitely the i5.

Sorry, the i5 is definitely faster than the 1100T. I'm an AMD guy, but as of right now, I would buy Intel over AMD...

Thanks man. No matter how much you like a company, you can't deny better performance for a cheaper price. 5 dollars less for the i5. I have to take it.
