So it seems like I get the bsod when either I'm playing a game or when my wife is watching streaming video. The problem is that it dosent happen all the time, maybe a couple of times a week. I havent installed anything new or updated anything (at least as far as I know) here is the log, any suggestions?

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (d1)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If kernel debugger is available get stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: 00000004, memory referenced
Arg2: 00000002, IRQL
Arg3: 00000001, value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
Arg4: 8c7e77df, address which referenced memory

Sorry but it is not a RAM issue at all. The problem file is tdx.sys. The IRQL Not Less or Equal is 90% of the time associated with bad drivers. I have seen reports of Broadcom Etherenet Adapters causing this failure, i have seen reports of Norton causing this error. Check your device manager and if you have a broadcom device go to their website to get the latest driver for your device.

k I dont have a broadcom driver but I tried updating my network device and it says that its already up to date. now im gonna try updating every driver i have and see if that solves a problem. ttyl

Try rolling back the network adapter driver. The new driver might be the problem, newer is not always better.

Dont trust the Device Manager to tell you the drivers are up to date. The Device Manager only goes by the drivers available on the Windows Updates, not by what is available by the manufacturer. Your problem could be the Widnows driver and the fact your not using the device manufacturers driver. The Widnows drivers are generic, the device manufacturers are specific. So you will have to check each driver manually on each manufacturers site. Yes it is a lot of work, but if it solves yoru problem it will be worth it.

k i went through all the devices on the manager. the only one that needed an update was the vid card. soooo...im gonna see if that fixes the problem first, and if not then ill be back! thanx all
