Hey all

I'm trying to upgrade this old PC with some RAM I found. But the system gives me 1 beep warning.

This is the motherboard.
Newegg.com - ECS RS482-M754 A 3200+ AMD Athlon 3200+ 754 ATI RS482 Micro ATX Motherboard/CPU Combo

The RAM that I was using is Rosewill DDR 400 512mb.

The one I'm trying to replace it with is Crucial DDR 400 1gig. It also says PC3200U.

I don't understand what that part means. Also I'm replacing two sticks with two sticks. Gives me the same warnign beep when I try one.

Please don't laugh because it's so old. :p

A single beep signifies Post is clear, that everything is working as it should.

Do you see anything on the screen?

After trying it a couple different ways it ended up working. It took a really long time to boot the first time but now seems to work great. Thanks for the help!
