get this whenever i boot up my comp,

Error loading C:\windows\system32\bridge.dll
The specified module could not be found.


How to fix it?

First I would run online virus scan (see my sig)
closely followed by a HiJack this.
followed by spyware removal tools (see Sig)

bridge.dll seems to be spyware-related.

bridge.dll is a spyware program loacted in...

C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded Program Files\bridge.dll

You can delete this file and the ''Bridge.ini.''

If you gots trouble removing this file, either it is in use or you cannot locate it, download a proggie, something like HiJackThis allowing you to kill the process and delete it.

Also, goto Start > Run > and type ''msconfig'' and goto the far left tab named 'Startup' and uncheck anything suspicous or ''bridge'' maybe even listed there.

Oh btw, if u unchek anything similar to 'bridge' in MSCONFIG on the startup tab, Windows wont even attempt to load this program, therefore, removing the ...

''Error loading C:\windows\system32\bridge.dll
The specified module could not be found''

...message that appears on startup.

Think ive got it fixed, ran a few anti spyware scans and removed it frm my startup list, thanks guys.

Btw, my adware has problems... says sth bout "error while loading the Ad-aware reference-file." then when i try to update it, it stops at 5%... Reinstall?

Yup, reinstall adaware.Try to have atleast two anti-spyware in your system ,with the latest updates.
Your computer would be more secure from spyware.
