Advice on psu

hi all
I have £270 to spend on a graphics and a new psu to power this graphics card, and I need some help. I am pretty certain (although open to suggestion) about the amd radeon hd 6970 as my card, but with £50 to spare, what psu should I get? The reason I ask is that after a lot of research, I haven't found information specific enough for my not brilliantly techy mind. I just wondered if anyone has experience which could help me with compatibility and quality.

If you want my specs, they are:
amd phenom II x6
4gb ddr3
gigabyte ga-870a-ud3
dvd/cd rw combo
2 usb power drawing devices
pci-e networking card
sorry if that is missing something or has too much detail...
I think that I will need at least 650w to get the most out of my system if I get this new graphics card.

Also, I realise that you have probably checked this, but are they compatible? sorry if that was a stupid question, I looked at the connections list but I would just like to be reassured by someone who actually knows what they are talking about :lol:
