Hi

I have one of my GTX 275s ( Zotac AMP! ) running at 702/1512/1260

The second card i have is a BGF and its running at 648/1440/1152

I guess my 1st question is... Is the Second card forced to run at the same speeds as the 1st? If not should it be able to handle the same speeds if i set it to do so?

Thanks

Yes, when in SLI, the higher-clocked GPUs will automatically lower their clock speeds to match whatever card has the lowest speeds.

You will be able to OC the other card, however since it is set at a lower clock, it might not be designed to run as high as the other one (lesser heatsink for example). I would wager that it would probably be fine.

Use a program like EVGA Precision to OC the cards higher - aim for halfway between what the cards are originally designed to run at, play some heavy games and see if the card that is lower-clocked at stock runs too hot at all.

Ah so the Zotac lowers itself to the BFG, OK thanks anyway you answered my question. Im already using EVGA Precision and ill try increasing the BGF speeds slightly.
