I am trying to back up my hard disc to an external hard drive disc. I am using paragon backup and recovery. The wizard is giving me the choice of Saving data to local/network drives, Saving data to FTP location or to CD,DVD or BD. Which would it be? Thankyou.

Funny you ask. I use Paragon myself. You would want to back it up to a Local/Network drive. You can save that to an internal or external drive.

But me, personally, I would save it on an internal HDD, if you have one, and just move the completed backup file to your external. It's safer and would take less time for the backup.
(unless you can use eSATA)

Thanks for the info Mindovermaster. The thing is I want to clone my whole hard disc. I have two partitions. My D: partition I store my files and folders on along with photo´s etc. My computer is only 260gigs so I don´t have a lot of space really.

Thanks MindoverMaster.
I thought the whole idea was to clone your entire hard disk. Restoring it if necessary as a whole disk.
