Deciding between graphics cards

I've looked at the specs for each of these graphics cards NVIDIA GeForce GT 440 and AMD Radeon HD 6570. There are some obvious diferences but they appear to balance themselves out through another spec, any body who has used either of these cards which do you recommend?

They're both decent enough cards - if they're roughly equal in performance, get whichever is cheaper

i feel you should get it based on companies, even though nVidia hates intel.
so it would be like this: AMD processor = get AMD Radeon HD, if Intel Processor = get GeForce GT440.

althought things might have changed over the years with these matchups, i feel that it would be a more... "obvious" choice. for me atleast.
