Hey, i am a cabling technician who is new to the telecommunications field. I started cabling in November of 2010. I realize that there is much more to this field then running CAT5e and CAT6 so that other guys who make much more money can come in and install switches and routers. I would like to be the guy installing and configuring the equipment and maybe even designing the networks for these places where I am pulling cable. If anyone has any advice on what courses I should take to pursue a career in this field, please let me know.
