The screen i have now is 20" 1080p so if i was going to buy another one it would have to be 27" 2560x1440.. iv been looking at the Dell Ultrasharp.

It's identical stuff, but with black colouring instead of blue. Also, the black stuff isn't in stock.

How close will you be to this monitor? I have a 22" and my head is about 2 feet away from the screen and I cannot play games full screen otherwise it is too much for my eyes...so take that into consideration when looking at 30" monitors.

That's a good point, actually. If you're used to a 20" only a few feet from your face, going from that to a 27" might be a bit much unless you can keep the new one far away enough.

Its gonna be about 3feet away from me. My brother has an iMac 27" so iv already tested it out. I think ill be fine if i do get one.

GPU, ram, processor and motherboard are out of stock at the moment..
Lead date for the GPU was 10th but has been delayed by the manufacturer
Lead date for the ram was 12th but has been delayed by the manufacturer
Lead date for the Processor and Motherboard is 13th but will probably be delayed knowing my luck XD
