Notebook Faster?

Howdy,
I was wondering what can I do to make my gateway m350
notebook more faster? I know if install more ram it will help
Anything else I can do?

depending on what u use the laptop for... installing more ram may not make anything faster. since u alreayd have 512mb(504 imguessing cause integrated somethingor other is using up 8), if u install more ram, it will not be used untill 512 is used up. typically 512mb's of ram isnt totally used up unless u do - a lot of gameing, photoediting/audio/video editing. stuff like that.

About all you can do is keep your computer free from spyware and virus's by using such programs as Spybot: Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware. also www.pc-cillin.com is a website with a free virus scanner for your computer. Like jolancer said, RAM will only do so much. In your case you mainly need to keep the HD free of clutter and keep it defragged if you haven't done that in a while.
