I am in need of a cheap, durable USB flash drive. This drive needs to be durable because it will be going to a person who tends to abuse technology. The flash drive does not need to be fast and will be used for storing pictures. 1-2GB should be fine. Budget= less than $15
I prefer the flash drive to be cheap because, chances are that this individual may still break the drive regardless of durability.

Here are 2 flash drives that I am considering.
CORSAIR Flash Voyager Mini 4GB
Patriot Xporter XT Boost 4GB

Good point. Best thing about a cheap one is that if it does break, it will teach them how to treat a flash drive (hopefully).

I actually accidentally bent my Kingston 2GB. 'Bout a 45* angle. I bent it back straight, still works to this day.

I been using the slide bit for 2 years now and no problems at all, best part is that you don't have to worry about taking the cover on or off.

Yeah I am surprised my slider part still works. I have a Sandisk Cruzer 4 GB and an 8 GB one too. Whenever I am holding one of them I am constantly sliding the connector out, then back in all the time.
