I have a dell inspiron 6400 and I'm trying to upgrade the processor and memory module. I can't seem to figure out what type of processors will work with the motherboard (MM061-Dell). If anyone can help me out with this, I would much appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I'm sorry, this is a laptop. There is little you can upgrade your CPU to. Any upgrade would be a slight improvement. Not noticeable.
Your RAM, however, you can add more RAM. You have to get 533Mhz SODIMM RAM and your limit is 2GB.

Yes. You CAN. The upgrade that you can do is not worth it. You're wasting money on an old system. Save that money for a new laptop.
