Best Motherboard and CPU combo under $150.

Hi, this is my first post under this username but I used to be a frequent member here about 2 years ago, unfortunately I completely forgot my login. My question is what would you guys consider the best Motherboard and CPU combo under $150. I am actually just upgrading the motherboard and cpu on one of my office computers and I purchased a 2gb 240-pin DDR2 667 memory four months ago so I mines well get a motherboard that supports that.

I was thinking of going with BIOSTAR A780L
Newegg.com - BIOSTAR A780L AM2+/AM3 AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
and a AMD Athlon II X2 260 Regor
Newegg.com - AMD Athlon II X2 260 Regor 3.2GHz 2 x 1MB L2 Cache Socket AM3 65W Dual-Core Desktop Processor ADX260OCGMBOX

Could anyone give me some pointers on that?

AMD Athlon II X3 435 Rana 2.9GHz 3 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Desktop Processor ADX435WFGMBOX
extra core should come in handy.
785g has slightly better graphics.

It's an office computer so the gpu doesn't really matter. and a quad core will be even better!!!
But depending on the tasks you most likely won't utilize all of the cores in either the tri-core or quad-core.
