Computer Builds(Decisions, decisions..) Which build?

Build two has a video card.. HIS Radeon HD 6970 H697F2G2M Video Card with Eyefinity

What do you guys think and why?

Critique as it stands...

I'd go for build number one. Sandy Bridge is pretty great, but it's still a mid range product. Until the Z68 chipset comes out later this year, LGA 1366 (X58) is still the best Intel offers. If you want to overclock, I believe it's still possible with the 950, but just more difficult. That being said the X58 platform is still way better than P67.

Bottom line, if you're going to spend that kind of money, either go with build 1 now, or wait until Z68 comes out second half of this year.

build 2 seems pretty decent.

- I have a HIS 5770 and its great, about to get a second one and run it in crossfire.
- Try to get a small ssd for your OS, it will make the computer run a lot faster.
- The asus monitor is outstanding, I have the same one and it has been perfect
- if you go with build 2 instead of using the 1600 gskill ram go with the 1333 and get 8gb thats what I use and I have had no problems with it yet.
