New Computer

So, with Rift out and TESV Skyrim supposedly coming out at the end of this year, I am wanting to build a new computer. As usual, I am always torn on which video card to get and which CPU to get. I will link all the parts for completeness and evaluation.

Motherboard - ASUS M4A79XTD
CPU - AMD Phenom II X4 965
RAM (might go with an 8gb setup...) - G.SKILL 4GB
PSU - CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W
Case - Antec Nine Hundred

Video Card - Torn between a GTX470 and a GTX460:
Card 1
Card 2
Card 3

I have read that the 470 is anywhere from 20-30% faster...but can someone explain the free performance deal with Card 2? It is $100 cheaper after all MIRs.

I'm not sure about the gpu...but I'm going to suggest Intel's new Sandy Bridge instead of AMD. Probably the i7 2600k or if you don't want to spend $330 then probably the i5 2500k which is $200 (if I remember correctly). Much faster. Easier OC. Amazing. Unless of course you're tied to AMD..

I am not married to AMD, but on Newegg it is $79 more. As it stands now, I think I'd rather spend that on a better GPU.

It just depends how much you want to spend. You'll get the most bang for your buck though on card 2 since it is only $140, but it is the weakest.
