So basically I had installed Windows 7 Pro on my computer but hadn't registered it. I used my girlfriend's mom's disk because I was planning on getting Pro. I eventually ended up getting an OEM of Home Premium and at the end of installation I had gotten the blue screen. Home Premium seemed to install fine except I still got a few blue screens every now and then. I delete the Windows.old file and that seemed to get rid of the blue screens. About a month later my computer started to freeze and restart. I did an hd test(can't remember which one) but it came up clean. Also ran memtest for 24 hours and it passed 24 passes, I then stopped. It seems that after doing that 24 hour test (with no crashes during it) that the crashes have become more common. Sometimes it'll even crash and then after it reboots, crash again. I have no idea what to do and any help is appreciated. Thanks.
EDIT: My comp has been restarting as soon as it turns on. I heard somewhere online that if your computer doesn't crash in safemode then it is probably a software problem. Well I am in safemode and it seems to be working, I've been running for 10 minutes and started a defrag so we'll see what happens.
