i need to know what psu 500 watt that will work for my desktop and not get in the way of graphics card or anything else i have a pci 16 slot graphics card need to upgrade psu for it

Check the PSU Guide for good brands. your computer uses an ATX PSU (standard size), so you can go with just about any and be good. Antec, Corsair, FSP Group (Fortron) are all good.

um the graphics card im using is a gefore gtx460 and requries 2 6pin pci express power connectors and takes 450 watt of power what psu would you recommend

i have an geforce gtx460 graphics card that takes 450 watts and a desktop that takes 350 watts does that mean i need to get a psu at 450 watts or an psu at 800 watts combing both new at this please help

You'd be safe with a 650.
