I've never merged partitions hence my post here as I'm unsure what happens.
When I built my PC, I split one of my hard drive into 2 partitions, each 500 GB and used one of those partitions as my C drive.
I only use the C drive for windows and installing of software/games etc. but now I've found that I need more space.
Can I merge my other partition of 500 GB with the C drive so I have the whole 1 TB to use as the C drive? Is it safe to do so? Not going to cause issues is it? Also, what program do I use to do it, or how do I do it? I don't mind paying for decent software (if it's not too expensive) .
Also, does anyone know of a decent drive imaging software for backup?
