I had an old cpu which i chucked in my utilities room for quite some time already.

I have some important documents which I have inside the computer.

I can't manage to log in to my admin account because I had lost my password.

I also tried using guest account but it was deactivated.

Please advise me on how retrieve my admin password back! I really need help!

My computer is running on Windows XP OS.

If you just need a file off of the operating system then shut down the PC properly. Then hook the hard drive up to your computer using an IDE / SATA / USB converter. Then you can access the file system and get the document(s).

Kido, as long the pc belongs to you directly and not somebody else who stays with you we can somewhat help you out.
Mostly we cannot assist with retrieving passwords for you for "ANY" type of OS.
However do it like lex said or do it my way: get another hdd, hook it up to your pc as master drive.
Take your old hdd and slave it reinstall xp again on the master drive or a different windows os such as vista or 7.
Activate the os, double click on the old hdd in my computer, windows will prompt you saying it won't allow you access.
It will say do you want ownership of the hdd, hit yes and you should be able to access only my documents and a few other parts of the partition.
The system files and anything relating to windows itself will be locked down.
If windows prompts you for xp's admin password, that might stop you completely.
