I have about 3/4 of a parts for a PC put together so far. I have a case, MoBo, PSU, GPU, soundcard, DVD-ROM, HDD and a heat-sink. All I really need is a CPU, RAM and an OS. I have this MoBo. I don't want to go cross eyed trying to figure out what I need, I figure you guys can help me. I want to keep it as cheap as possible at this point. I need this stuff:

-An AMD AM2 CPU (Dual core). I'm assuming AM2+ (Or AM3) is compatible too. 2.5Ghz or higher.
-4GB of RAM. I need two physical sticks because the MoBo only has two slots and supports only 4GB.
-Either Win 7 32 bit or Vista 32 bit.

This tower is for the kids. So it doesn't have to be blazing fast, just workable to play some basic games and surf the web. Thanks for the help.

ASUSTeK Computer Inc. - Motherboards - ASUS M2N68-AM

AM3 isn't compatible with AM2+.

RAM - get these: Newegg.com - PQI TURBO 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model PQI26400-4GDB
All RAM is pretty much the same. I have SuperTalent in my server. I always praise heatspreders, no matter how cheap. Better than nothing.

Get Win 7 Home Premium OEM. Why not get x64? Same price as x32.
x32 Newegg.com - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit 1-Pack for System Builders - Operating Systems
x64 Newegg.com - Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit 1-Pack for System Builders - Operating Systems
