I have a Hp Paviolion Slimeline s3700y PC. Comes with a
AMD Athlon X2 5000 processor
3gb system mem
320gb hard drive
Nvidia Geforce 6150SE
winds v home.
Now it comes with an ON board V card which died. So I went out and and purchased a VisionTek Radeon HD 5450 graphic card. I manually did the hardware install. It doesnt need any external power. I turned on the PC and i get a message on the screen "no imput detected" then the screen goes to sleep. Whats the problem? I know IF my on board vid card was working it be a simpline fix of disabling it in the settings, but with no working vid card its impossible to install a new one ......am i correct? Do i need to take it to someone that can link up their pc to mine to bypass this problem? here is the link to the New Vid card
