Westerb Digital External Hardrive FAIL

My external hard drive will not get recognized by My Computer. Ive tried to manage my drives by right clicking My Computer. Ive tried to hardwire it straight to my motherboard by using the SATA cables. Does anyone have the same problem? Or have some insight to what I can do, because I really need whats in there. Oh, it gets recognized by my PS3 for like 2 mins then gets kicked off. Thanks, Kevin

Is it listed in Computer Management -> Disk Management? If it sees it as raw data, it may have corrupted.

No its not. I dont really care if it works or not I just really need the info thats in there. Is there some place I can take it, or even better something I can do to get that information.

I'm afraid there is little you can do. You could try Recuva, but I believe you have to have your computer recognize the drive first. You hear it spin up at all?
