Keyboard Keys not working - opening programs instead - pressing e opens My Computer

I have a Lenovo Desktop with Windows 7 SP1. When I press keys on my keyboard, instead of typing, they open up miscellaneous programs - I can't type anything in text fields. Almost as if I was holding down a shortcut key or the windows key. I have tried several different keyboards and I have the same problem.

This is the second time I have had the problem. First time I did a System Restore, but I can't do that this time.

Anyone have any idea on how I can fix this?

Try reinstalling your keyboard drivers.

I believe Windows 7 did this when I installed the new keyboard. That one had the same errors.

That was creepy... could have been using the same driver for each keyboard.
