GEFORCE 8800 GTX Problem

I just reformatted my computer completely...
for some reason it detects the Video card and that it needs a new driver, but when i go through the prompts and click next and all that I get an error

Ive also tried to go to the nvidia website and download the drivers that way but everything installs expect for the graphics driver...

any ideas?
im going to restart again and write down excatly what it says

Ok so we got welcome to the found new hardware wizard
it searches
starts to install then i get a message saying : the nvidia control panel could not be installed which may effect driver functionality. the most recent driver that worked will now be installed.

Get a previous driver, older than the newest.

ok well I figured itd be on the nvidia website, ive tried 3 older ones and none work

ok well i finally found an old one that would work...
how can I get the current one now?
