I was wondering your opinion on this hardware for a better gaming rig than my 8 year old desktop (kind of a silly question, since anything will be better). Im on a small budget (limiting myself to <£800) and unfortunately have very little knowledge of a decent setup. Im not looking for anything extravagant, just something that will run most games (except anything excessively graphics intensive), to a decent degree. Pristine detail and so on is not important to me, just that it runs smooth and lag free.
Ive also never used a laptop before, but I have university coming up soon so I figured id invest in one. Ive heard of friends having trouble with batteries.. or adapters, or something, so any trivial advice in this area would be extremely welcome.
