when the descrip for a mobo is prescott ready
does that mean it only suppots prescott cores? or will northwood work as well

Give me some more info, like the board itself.
They run off of Sockets, so I can only tell if I see the motherboard itself.

well then either the mobo info is wrong or ag3 must be wrong... cause the two contradict quite strongly... hmmm perhaps it has dual processor spots on it :) dont know if that exists but would be a good idea, prolly cause conflicting shit in your comp, and mobo would have to be massive... maybe its not such a good idea.

Trust me. I'm never wrong! ;)

The Prescott features seventy million more transistors (90nm) than the Northwood (130nm). The Prescott is based on Pentium 4 (478) and LGA (775).
