how long for a thread to be approved?

I started a new thread about 3 hours ago looking for help with an urgent HD problem but im yet to see the thread appear, any ideas how long it usually takes for a mod to approve this because I am quite keen to get help asap ...

It depends on how fast the mods/admins are able to approve it. Could take a couple minutes, could take a few hours.

Edit: Seems to be approved now.

This is exactly right. We have lives just like the rest and we are not on all day everyday. We get them when we can. If the question is that urgent, dont use links in your question to have it show up right away.
