I was looking into recovering all these clicking HDs from the 90s (SCSI , IDE) and also wanted the sata option as well. This machine should do copy/repair/recover/format etc.

Does anyone know any machines out there that can do this under 2,000 bucks?

I was looking at the King Kesender Mini w/sata option BUT thats about 3k.

Anyhelp here would be greatly appreciated.

Only thing I can suggest is... whats from the 90's should stay in the 90's lol.

Not to really question why you would want to do this but... would it really be cost effective?

i cant think of too many reasons that end in a best case questionably legal output for this type of machine.

Heh, depending on where exactly you got those hdd's from and if they "HAVE" been wiped by a business before being tossed into a warze ben at a computer shop or anywhere else.
I would recommend, that you don't bother with those old ide scsi hdd's.
Even if you managed to recover a few of them, they are still doomed to fail again.
Whats on them is should be your concern, if it's business or family personal information, you have a obligation to get rid of it.
Or you can risk being caught with it by mistake and try to explain it to the local police department.
Just telling you like it is about old damaged hdd's with leftover information.
